A great Technology Education Project

The Electric car project is a great project for Technology classes because It allows you to build it in SketchUp first. Then build it in the class.  Teaching students at a young age to use CAD and build with their hands will encourage them to continue in the areas of engineering and design.  There are 12 step by step videos that show the students how to draw and assemble the car which can be purchased as a kit.  The videos allow the students to work at their own pace, all they have to do is watch, pause, and repeat the videos when ever they need to. I have found this to be the key to teaching CAD and reduce the teachers work load.  Anyway check out our video to the right and see what the Electric Car Project is all about. To find out more about the kit please email learningteched@gmail.com.
