  • How to save your EV3 program

What's the difference between a Project and Program. A project is just a folder, you will want to name your project with your own or team name. A program is what you put into the project (folder). You will need to label both your Project and your Program.
Save the project first then save program within the project.

How to save your EV3 programs.

You need to save all of your programs for your instructor to look at later. Choose names that describe the activity that you are doing. Such as activity 1-1. Notice it is a dash not a period as periods are not allowed in the file name.  To the right is a screen shot of what is allowed in the file name. Get into the habit of saving your file before sending it to the robot. Once you have saved it once you only need to press the save icon to save it again.
