Technology / Engineering / SHop Safety Lessons for schools
TechEd LLC is currently making safety videos to be used for class room instruction. These safety videos contain detailed instruction and safety guidelines for students. It is the instructors responsibility to determine and monitor how students use the machines. TechEd LLC is not responsible for any injuries that may occur.
These safety videos are great for use with the entire Technology / Engineering or Shop class. All students should receive safety instructions before using power tools. Unfortunately attendance is an issue with students being absent for whatever reason. The students can view these safety videos on an individual basis as they are available for the students that have the sites password. (See Teachers Corner) These videos go over the general safety rules for a type of machine. However some additional instruction needs to be given regarding your particular machine. Some of the videos also contain information on how the machine actually works. Eventually there will be a work sheet or quiz for each of these lessons to check the student's understanding. Please bare with us as we grow.
